Cold Sores from a German New Medicine (GNM) Perspective
Greetings all, it has been a while since my last post and I want to share a case relating to cold sores (fever blisters). A client asked if I could explain them from a German New Medicine (GNM) perspective. Let’s first see what conventional medicine says: Cold sores are a common viral infection, referred to as herpes. They also say that they are usually caused by a herpes simplex virus (HSV) type 1 and 2. Additionally, cold sores spread from person to person by close contact, such as kissing and that there is no cure for cold sores. Medication is suggested.

From a GNM perspective, cold sores are due to a separation conflict. They develop at the area of the skin that correlates to the separation conflict. If on the lip, it could be that one unexpectedly did not get a kiss or did not want to be kissed. It could also be that the lip is in contact with a dirty object such as a pen that was snatched away, or a cigarette “withdrawal”. The cold sore appears only on the person(s) that experienced the separation conflict. Per GNM, we can heal naturally/without medication as in the case below.

Case: Was Not a Kiss
Complaint: Client stated she had gotten a cold sore/fever blister on her upper right lip.
Why/Conflict: Separation conflict relating to the lip.
She Understands GNM: She stated that it must be related to her husband who was on travel when they were talking on the phone together. The client/wife heard a “mwah” sound and was happy that her husband gave her a kiss (something he rarely does). Except, her husband did not give her a kiss and said it must have been a noise in the background. Her DHS (conflict shock).
Follow up: She did feel the itchiness and thought for a second about what happened, and instantly made the conscious connection that the itchiness was from the kiss that she didn’t get during her conversation with her husband. She watched over the next few days and noticed that it was not as bad or lasted as long as it typically did in the past. She did not take any medication and it healed naturally.
